Also, refer to the IEEE floating
point (single and double precision) specification section.
You can send or receive IEEE 754 floating point value by choosing 'float' or
'double' type in [FX] category field in serial protocol configuration dialog.
The '4-byte float' button sends 's0' and expects to receive 'r0' which is same with 's0' in protocol configuration. To emulate this 'echo' situation, it would be better to use direct-echo RS232 adaptor. If the deployed applet or application does not receive 'r0', the gauges will not be updated.
The '8-byte double' button sends 's1' and expects to receive 'r1' which is same with 's1' in protocol configuration. To emulate this 'echo' situation, it would be better to use direct-echo RS232 adaptor. If the deployed applet or application does not receive 'r1', the gauges will not be updated.
